Favorite Attacks

What are some of your favorite attack tropes to play through in PA?
I’m personally a huge fan of spinning stars/shapes that scale up and then back down synced to a little arp or other light instrument; even though they usually dont impact gameplay that much, they’re super satisfying to watch lol. I also really like attacks on a square grid, they make for some super cool tight moments especially when mixed in with stuff that isn’t on the same grid.

For me it’s anything that really puts down the image of how a song would have an attack, a personal favorite of mine that I often like doing is all the “screen dividers” between thin lines that rearrange/split up at different speeds and all the attacks manage to blend together with the aspects of the song. Being repositioned or cut up really makes you think faster with the different aspects that each event introduces.

I personally appreciate gameplay that can be repetitive but fun, same attack but with slight adjustments or difference, keeping in mind what the player has already known before while challenging that a bit in later parts of the level.
